Thank
you!
Just
yesterday Nick received
an Email from Volkswagen
racing. Inviting him
to participate in the
VW TDI race series try
outs....
Hi my name is Nick
DeCuzzi most of you
who are getting this
email know my parents
or grandparents and
they are helping me
send these emails.
Most of you know I race
karts and sometimes
cars. I have been named
to the Skip Barber Elite
12 and competed twice
in the shootout finishing
in the top 6. I am 16
and attend Kent State
University full time
after completing only
2 years of high school
needless to say I love
racing and school. Yesterday
I received an email
form the president of
Volkswagen USA a little
late giving me one of
the biggest racing opportunities
in my life and it comes
with a catch. I have
to produce a 25,000
check by Friday in order
to race the series,
I have 5,000 saved which
I am going to put towards
it and I need help with
the balance.
The deposit is refundable
if I do not make the
cut so I am asking everyone
I know to lend me $25
dollars if I can find
1000 people to help
I can go. If I do not
raise enough money to
go I will refund everyone
their money back! If
you are willing to help
please click on the
email links this is
a legitimate email unlike
most of the scams you
get. Google my name
Nick DeCuzzi, you will
see a little about my
racing and me! You can
follow the link to www.kb4racing.com
or www.decuzziracing.com
where you can see more
about what I am doing!
My dad always says if
you don't try you will
never know better to
strike out than never
get to bat. Thank you
for your time and support
I have attached what
I call a resume and
the link to all the
details.
Here is the deal if
I don't make enough
money to attend I will
refund everyone thru
PayPal because it is
free for me to do it!
If I make it I hope
you guys will let me
keep it so I can compete
in the series! I can
win this series I know
it! If I win the season
i can return your money
too! If I total the
car I won't be able
to return all of it.
Here is the actual
email I received and
links!

-TDI series
Dear Nick,
We have your application,
so if you want to attend
the tryouts at Infineon
Raceway in Sonoma CA
Feb. 1rst to 4th, you
need to send in a refundable
$25,000 deposit in the
form of a cashiers check.
The deposit is required
by end of day Friday,
January 23rd. Then you
will be able to attend
the Drivers Selection
event. If you do not
make the final cut,
you get the $25,000
back. If you do make
the final field of 30
drivers for 2009, an
additional payment of
$20,000 ($25,000+20,000=$45,000USD)
is required and then
you race the entire
season. This covers
all costs for the season
except your travel,
helmet and crash damages.
Championship winner
will receive $100,000
prize money at the end
of the 2009 season.
Please let me know if
you are interested in
attending and becoming
a professional race
car driver.
